it reminds me of the women who touched Jesus' robes. I mean to have that faith that there was even power in His clothes! I mean man if it was me I would have tackled Him with a bear hug just to be sure! I know there's so much more in that story but I always can't help but put myself in her place. And of course when Jesus looks at her (or me imagining myself in her place) it makes me tear up.

I absolutely agree with everything you said! :) Ask for wisdom and you shall receive.

The challenge comes after, when we must maintain a balanced perspective. With a gift, such as the Wisdom of God, things are bound to only get more and more challenging. Satan sees your relationship with God growing and the only thing going through his mind is to try to destroy all connections. It is tough like you said. Trust God and He will lead you down the straight path.

you're words are as always a rarity in this world full of selfish pursuit... bless you, my sister! my eyes are welling with joy at your vision and connectedness to our creator and what he is placing on your heart! what i'm seeing in your dream is that you are traveling out into the mission field to help the women in uganda (yes, the children are precious and their neediness is readily apparent) but what i am feeling from your writings is that god is wanting you to look out at the broken women who need protection and hope. you have an amazing ability to befriend the unloved and hurting... i pray that you bring that gift to the women of uganda just as you have ministered to broken woman like me here! i love you, trace... ok... now i am crying :-)

It was customary during this time to pay full price for property that was purchased. It was not common for men to want to give away property like we find in 23. Abraham was so well respected that the men of Ephron wanted to show their respect by offering land for free. Abraham wanted to honor Sarah by purchasing the land as well as officially own a piece of property. He was in essence buying a family cometary seeing how most of his family was buried there for years to come. Having the property deeded to him would allow to pay taxes on the land & there be no discrepancy on whose land it was.

I've been reading through Job recently too. Actually my reason for reading it initially was to satisfy a world literature requirement. Instead, I've found it to be very helpful for direction. I especially am reached by Gods condemnation of the three "friends." They all have different views of how Job should get past his struggles. It appears that Jobs choice is to be real with God, sharing his true feelings of hatred towards the situation. I'm with Jenn that it'd be tough to struggle without the Bible to turn to for answers. Job wants the truth from Gods lips and not some fake pat on the back. I've been challenged by God to seek similar prayer.

I need help understanding Job 1:7. God asks Satan "Where have you come from?" Can someone help me understand why the all knowing God would ask Satan this, something he already knows?
